At RSO Leather I specialise in bridle fitting and beautiful bespoke, made to measure bridles. I offer fitting appointments with no obligation to buy. I also provide a bridle alteration service for clients who want to ensure their current bridle is the best fit for their horse.
I carry out all tack repairs and saddle flocking along with handmade headcollars, handbags and gorgeous small leather goods by Society of Master Saddlers qualified bridle and saddle maker Rachel Oldfield.

A bit of history
My Story
After 15 years of working as an Office Administrator I took the plunge and began my leatherwork journey. In early 2019 after 4 years of attending the Saddlery Training Centre in Salisbury I gained my Level 3 City and Guilds certificate in Bridle and Saddle making to become a Society of Master Saddlers (SMS) qualified saddler, along with the SMS Saddle Flocking and Flocking Adjustment certification . From there RSO Leather began, using traditional tools and hand stitching methods, all my products are completely handmade here at my workshop in North Yorkshire, making them a totally unique gift for either your human, canine or equine friend.
